11 November 09 - And the winner is...Yummy Yorkshire
We are pleased to announce that we have been busy winning more awards:
Our 'Lou's Liquorice Ice Cream' flavour has scooped not only best Dairy Product, but also the coveted Supreme Product of the Year at the 2009 deliciouslyorkshire Awards. The judges gave the innovative flavour the highest scores ever, deciding that it was ‘not a gimmick but a well made, grown up product.’
We were also thrilled to be awarded the top accolade - Gold Three Stars - for the same flavour at the 2009 Great Taste Awards hosted by the Guild of Fine Foods. We were presented with a Gold One Star Award in 2008 so we are delighted with our progress!
To-date the Ice Cream Alliance presented us with awards for our Vanilla, Strawberry, Christmas Cake and Rhubarb Ice Cream flavours as a result of participating in the National Ice Cream Competition 2008. We have also been finalists in the Yorkshire Post/York Food Festival Taste of Yorkshire 2008 Awards with a 'Highly Commended' result.
