Yummy Yorkshire Ice Cream Parlour & Coffee Shop

Our rustic ice cream parlour and coffee shop is open on a daily basis, serving up freshly made food made by our resident chef for you to enjoy.

Not only do we have a wide range of Yummy Yorkshire ice cream flavours for you to choose from – be it on the cone or in a more indulgent sundae or milkshake – but we also serve a selection of homemade cakes, cupcakes and scones.

Our coffee is freshly ground and expertly made for you by our barista trained staff. The blend, provided by Cooper's Coffee, is an award-winning recipe featuring six coffees from five continents with lots of body and great length - a true connoisseur's espresso!

Of course we also have a wide selection of cold drinks, teas and hot chocolate for you to choose from if coffee isn't your thing.

Our food and drink offering doesn't stop there though - as well as hot and cold sandwiches, toasties, bagels and soup, our 'specials board' allows our chef to showcase top quality, regional produce on a daily basis. Chicken & Bacon salad bowls and Steak Ciabatta with onion gravy are just some of the recent yummy dishes recently served up.

Children are also very welcome here at Yummy Yorkshire and are catered for with their very own hot and cold children's menu.

We accept all major bank cards and American Express and have disabled access plus a disabled toilet and nappy changing facilities. Parking is free for customers of the coffee shop.

We are delighted to work with some fantastic local producers, who like us, are passionate about their food, its provenance and the way in which it is produced.

We've therefore created a dedicated shelf in the coffee shop selling a selection of delicious locally made products.

Choose from Chilli Jam; Original, Smoky and Bhut Jolokia, Real Lemon Curd, Yorkshire Honey and homemade marmalade and preserves plus a range of cheeses including Barncliffe Brie, Mature White Cheddar, Wensleydale and the award-winning Yorkshire Blue and Monks Folly by Shepherds Purse.

We also sell local dry cured bacon, Longley Farm Butter, Longley Farm Cream Cheese and Delph House Farm green top (unpasteurised/raw) milk as well as a wide selection of 500ml tubs of Yummy Yorkshire Ice Cream for you to purchase and enjoy at home.

Children's Parties at Yummy Yorkshire

Are you looking for a unique and alternative venue for your child's birthday party? Then why not come to Yummy Yorkshire for a very special birthday experience!

Our rustic ice cream parlour can accommodate up to 15 children and is made available solely to you.

Guests will be treated to a selection of freshly made party food and of course our delicious award-winning ice cream which is served in a novelty, themed mug to keep. We can also offer bespoke farm/animal-themed cakes, or your can bring your own and we will serve it for you.

Parents are not forgotten - enjoy a drink from our coffee shop menu while waiting for your little darlings!

Each party also includes a special visit from our friendly Yummy Yorkshire mascot, Camilla the Cow.

Parties run from 5.30pm–7.30pm and prices start from £7.50 per head. Bespoke menus can be created if desired along with adult food options such as a special Yorkshire cheese board.

The Tractor can be booked for the kids to sit on and 'honk the horn' like a real farmer and party bags can also be made up for your guests to take the hassle out of your party.

Camilla's Play Shed & Ice Cream Hut

From May to September, young visitors to Yummy Yorkshire can enjoy Camilla's Play Shed – a rustic indoor play area which covers 2,400sq feet and boasts a multitude of free equipment for children up to the age of 12 to enjoy.

The Play Shed features a giant straw bale-lined sand pit complete with toy excavators, buckets and spades, a tunnel constructed from large straw Hesston bales, a go-kart circuit and a giant ball pool for toddlers.

There is also a cafe area and ice cream hut for mums and dads which sells a variety of espresso based coffees such as lattes and cappuccinos, soft drinks, muffins, chocolate and crisps, as well as Yummy Yorkshire ice cream.

During the summer school holidays, Camilla's Play Barn is also available to hire for children's birthday parties. For more information please contact us.

Regrettably, Camilla's Play Shed & Ice Cream Hut is only open over the summer as we need to use the space to house cattle over the winter months. Occasionally, however, we will make the space available outside of this time to offer a bouncy castle or other attractions – if this is the case, details will be posted on our Facebook or Twitter page.
