Ice Cream Flavours
Yummy Yorkshire is committed to championing local produce and has partnered with Yorkshire food producers to create the best quality ice cream with a diverse and seasonal flavour list.
Brekk's Farm in Garforth is a source of major inspiration according to which fruits are in season. Strawberries are stock-piled in the summer to keep this family favourite going all year. Others, such as Gooseberry Fool, Raspberry Ripple and Elderflower & Blackberry, come and go according to the availability of the fruit.
We also partner with Bradley-based Cooper’s Coffee for their Five Arabica Bean Coffee for ice cream flavouring and Jeremy's sister, who runs Julie Holmes Catering, makes the lemon curd for our flavour of the same name using the yolks from our hens.
Quality is Yummy Yorkshire's key focus and both the Pontefract Cakes and fudge for our popular Caramel Fudge flavour are chopped up by hand because it ensures a better flavour.
We are always keen to involve our customers in the business and each year hold a new ice cream flavour competition. Last year's winner was 'Lizzie's Eton Mess', which has become one of our most popular flavours. We're sure that this year's winning flavour - Old Yorkshire Trifle - will become another best-seller.
All our flavours are designed to meet traditional and contemporary tastes, and since we launched our portfolio has grown to more than 50 flavours. We like to be as creative as possible in our ice cream parlour and can make things to celebrate events or special occasions. Sometimes we make a new flavour just to try something new! We are always open to suggestions.

Being a small scale artisan ice cream maker, we have the flexibility of easily introducing a new flavour to our product line without compromising our standards.
We have created many one-off flavours for special occasions and outlets looking for something special or exclusive for their menu. Please contact Louise if you would like to discuss the creation of a tailored flavour.
